A former militant warlord, Josiah Oyakonghan,  famously known as Oyimi, has ordered, the commander in Chief of Armed Forces,  President Muhammadu Buhari, telling him to handover to the immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan.

Oyakonghan, who is a former warlord of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, MEND, said Nigerians can trust only Jonathan to solve their problems.

According to the ex-militant leader, “We, therefore, use this Easter celebration to urge Nigerians to continue to support Buhari’s administration for him to deliver on the promise of change we are committed to seeing, and also work for Jonathan to return to the Villa.

“We urge Buhari to work for Jonathan’s candidacy who will salvage our country and reawaken a new hope for national cohesion and development.

P“President Buhari should therefore support GEJ for president for a new dawn in our country. Virtually every facet of our national life needs urgent attention and GEJ is the answer.”

There has been calls that Goodluck Jonathan should contest for the Presidency in 2023.
