Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, says Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of the late popular gospel artiste, Osinachi Nwachukwu, is married to another woman. She spoke on Wednesday while she featured as a guest on NTA’s Good Morning Nigeria’s breakfast show monitored by  The PUNCH. According to the minister, Peter, who is now in police custody, physically assaulted his late wife and her four children. A yet-to-be-identified man on Saturday jumped into the Lagoon around the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State. It was learnt that the man had boarded a car-hailing service, Uber, from Gbagada to a destination in the state. While the driver was commuting him to his destination, according to PUNCH report, the passenger told the driver to park on the Third Mainland Bridge because he had a stomach ache. After parking, the yet-to-be-identified man disembarked from the vehicle and jumped into the ocean around 11am. High life legend, Dr Victor Olaiya, is dead. He was 89. A statement by his label, Evergreen Music Company, confirmed his death. Its Managing Director Bimbo Esho said: “The entire music world wish to announce the death of a Legend of Highlife music, One of  the last man standing, the last of the original Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya OON.. “We pray that the soul of the Doyen of highlife music find repose with his creator while wishing the family and entire music community the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
