Due to inadequate medical intervention or lack of financial support, a lot of these young athletes resort to improvised means of healthcare. No form of first aid whatsoever, no medical personnel within the club structure. There are three major possible outcomes when an athlete gets injured. First, with proper care, the injuries heal and they recover fully. Secondly, the injury is managed enough to recuperate, but with some lingering pain. Thirdly, the injury is either not properly cared for or not cared for at all and it ends up getting much fatal.
